Hauntings are always portrayed as happening in creepy houses, hospitals, psych centers and the like. Working, as I do, in courts of law, places overflowing daily with human anguish and unresolved pain, I've often wondered why they're not used as settings for spooky stories. Were ghosts to exist, we now know of one courthouse in Texas where one could be found.

I live on the eastern edge of Lake Erie and peer deep into ponds in the day and the dark sky at night. My home is ruled by two cats, millions of euglenoids and the ever marvelous Mimas Supremas-A superior lifeform of unusual powers and grace (well, I think she's neat).
