Comet Alert!

If you have a good view of the south-west horizon, look for an extremely bright object right after sunset. (Sadly, it sets very quickly.) It's Comet McNaught (2006 P1). Yes it's real...
and it's spectacular!

Got some photos at 5:30 EST from the front plaza at the University of Buffalo. Here the comet sets before it gets completely dark so a very clear south/southwestern horizon is needed.
