This is a great story, follow the link at Americablog to the original article. It certainly shows yet again the growing social gap between the US and the rest of the civilized world. (and no, I'm not crushing on that little mountie so stop saying that...)

I live on the eastern edge of Lake Erie and peer deep into ponds in the day and the dark sky at night. My home is ruled by two cats, millions of euglenoids and the ever marvelous Mimas Supremas-A superior lifeform of unusual powers and grace (well, I think she's neat).
